In this position you will collaborate in creating new logic to determine overpayments according to CMS and NCCI national billing and coding guidelines. You will serve as a medical coding subject matter expert for complex coding and provide valuable insights to our Center specialists for answering provider coding questions.
- Research and apply code logic for claim overpayments.
- Create and validate new coding logic in compliance with guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for complex coding inquiries.
- Discern missed codes and ensure accurate code application.
- Multitask by producing coding logic, answering claims questions, and responding to provider calls.
- Not a remote position - office located in Dallas, Texas.
Requirements:
- Coding certification.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Technical acumen in medical coding conventions.
- 3+ years of coding-based experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (proof required).
